BREAKFAST QUINOA
1/3 cup quinoa, rinsed Combine quinoa, cinnamon, brown sugar, salt, raisins and milk in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook until the milk is absorbed, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir in pecans. Spoon into a bowl and top with chopped peaches. Serves 1. |
